GymbaROO Knox Rowville is an awesome Movement club located in Melbourne, dedicated to supporting early childhood development through neurology-focused programs. Founded by Margaret Sasse, a true powerhouse who wore many hats including being a farmer's wife, a mother of five, and an ex-nurse, GymbaROO has come a long way.
Margaret Sasse's journey began when she noticed how effective neurological programs were in helping teenagers with learning difficulties. Recognising the importance of early intervention, she decided to extend her work to babies, toddlers, and preschool children. However, she faced resistance and scepticism from educational institutions.
But, you know what? Marg was not one to give up easily. In 1982, with equipment made by her supportive husband Harry, she took matters into her own hands and founded GymbaROO right in a local church hall. Talk about determination!
GymbaROO offers a wide range of fun and engaging developmental activities to children aged from birth to five years. The best part is that they not only focus on the children, but also educate and support parents in providing the essential building blocks for their child's future learning.
Thanks to Marg's unwavering dedication and perseverance, GymbaROO has positively impacted the lives of countless children and their families. Kids have thrived in an environment that promotes effective neurology-based strategies, all while having a blast!
