GWB Studios is an esteemed dance and performing arts school located in the vibrant suburb of Mile End, South Australia. With direct connexions to the professional industry both nationally and internationally, GWB Studios offers its students exposure to industry experts and high-quality training.

At GWB, the primary focus is on developing the highest quality technical skills and performance stagecraft for students. The studio is proud to provide a warm and welcoming space for a passionate community of students, staff, families, and the wider arts community, all dedicated to maintaining a nurturing, respectful, inclusive, and safe environment for the industry's next generation.

GWB Studios offers a variety of programmes tailored to suit different aspirations and interests. They provide elite training for those aiming for a professional career in dance, as well as recreational classes for those who simply wish to enjoy the art form. The after-school programme is designed to meet the requirements of the SACE 2024 dance curriculum, in partnership with Thebarton Senior College.

Students in academic years 10 and 11 qualify for Stage 1 Dance, while students in academic years 11 and 12 are eligible for Stage 2 Dance. Completing these courses will result in receiving credits towards their SACE (South Australian Certificate of Education).

The curriculum encompasses three broad areas: understanding dance, creating dance, and responding to dance. Students develop their dance technique, learn dance terminology, explore composition tools and choreographic devices, and practise safe dance techniques. They also have the opportunity to reflect on their technical skills, plan for future directions, and create their own composition piece inspired by the works of renowned choreographer Garry Stewart.

Throughout their training, students will have the chance to participate in performances, both within the studio and at external venues. These performances allow students to showcase their skills and further enhance their stagecraft.

GWB Studios also offers studio hire for rehearsals, workshops, or events. The spacious and well-equipped studios provide the ideal space for dancers and performers to practise and create.

Located at 50 Sir Donald Bradman Dr in Mile End, GWB Studios can be easily accessed by students from the surrounding areas. The office operates from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm, ensuring that all administrative needs are met.
