Guseikai Calgary Wado Group

You're all doing well! Registration for our Fall 2023 classes is now open. Don't miss out on the opportunity to learn traditional Wado Ryu karate with Guseikai Calgary Wado Group. Our club is the only one in the South-West of Calgary registered with the Canadian ZenKuRen Wado Karate Association, a member of the Japan Karate Federation.

We are also affiliated with Karate Alberta and Karate Canada, ensuring that our members receive high-quality instruction from qualified instructors.

Led by Sensei Norma Foster, a 7th Dan black belt, our club offers a supportive and inclusive environment for all ages and skill levels. Whether you're a beginner looking to improve your fitness and self-defence skills or an experienced martial artist wanting to advance your technique, Guseikai Calgary Wado Group has something for everyone.

Our classes are held at the Greek Community and Hellenic Society of Calgary on Tuesdays from 6-8 pm and at River Park Hall on Saturdays from 12-2 pm. Come join us for a free class and see what traditional Wado Ryu karate is all about.
