Gurnell Concrete Skatepark and Bowl, located next to Gurnell Leisure Centre on Ruislip Road East in Acton, London, is a popular destination for skateboarders of all skill levels. Managed by the Ealing Skatepark Association (ESA), a group of dedicated volunteers, the park offers a range of features designed to cater to the needs of skateboarders.

One of the highlights of Gurnell Skatepark is the versatile bowl, which has a depth ranging from 4. 5ft to 6ft, providing ample opportunities for trick variations. There is also a long flat bank with a cheese wedge, combined ledge, manny pad, and angled block, allowing skateboarders to practise their technical skills. The park includes a central volcano, driveways, and an eurogap, offering skaters a challenging and dynamic experience.

For those seeking adrenaline-pumping experiences, Gurnell Skatepark features a large 4-set with a wall ride, a hubba ledge, and an open-ended bowled section with pool coping, hips, and 3ft roll-ins. To cater to the needs of different skateboarders, the park also includes a 5. 5ft wooden mini-ramp, added in April 2017.

Gurnell Skatepark is easily accessible by various means of transportation. Bus routes E2, E5, E7, E9, E10, and 297 stop near Gurnell Leisure Centre, while Perivale Tube station on the Central Line is a 20-minute walk away. For those arriving by car, there is a 'Pay & Display' car park adjacent to the skatepark. In terms of refreshments, there is a convenience store called Dan's on Ruislip Road East, located near the zebra crossing.

The skatepark operates on an 'open access' basis, meaning it is free for anyone to use. However, to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all users, it is important to adhere to a few guidelines. The park is busiest after school, in the evenings, and on weekends. Quieter times are during the day on weekdays (excluding school holidays) and early mornings on weekends.

The Ealing Skatepark Association is committed to the development and maintenance of skatepark facilities in the Borough of Ealing. The association aims to foster connexions with skatepark users, parents, community groups, the Local Authority, schools, and the Police. Their goal is to attract funding for the upkeep and improvement of the skatepark and ensure its safe and regular usage. It is important to note that Gurnell Skatepark's future is being redeveloped as part of the larger Gurnell Leisure Centre project.
