Gunsmoke Paintball Colchester, located in Layer Marney on the outskirts of Colchester, Essex, is a paintball centre spanning 31 acres. Easily accessible by car, with great road links and ample parking available, the site is also suitable for large parties, corporate events, and school trips that may require coach or bus transportation.
With over 20 years of experience, Gunsmoke Paintball is a family-run business operated by passionate paintball enthusiasts. Their goal is to provide an exceptional paintball experience while offering excellent value for money. They welcome individuals, groups, clubs, paintball parties, and walk-on players, with prebooking being essential for walk-on players (available on the last Sunday of each month).
Gunsmoke Paintball caters to players of all ages. For younger players between the ages of 8 and 11, they offer paintball games using low velocity JT Splatmaster pump action markers. Parental consent is required, and an adult must be present during these games. For players aged 12-16, special pricing is available, but they will be grouped with adults and require parental consent and adult supervision.
The centre also offers a variety of activities to suit different preferences. In addition to traditional paintball, they have a low impact paintball option, which provides the same exhilaration but with a reduced impact. This is ideal for those concerned about bruising. Gunsmoke Paintball is also an excellent venue for schools, clubs, stag and hen parties, and corporate team building events.
Facilities at Gunsmoke Paintball include an onsite shop that stocks a range of equipment for paintball and airsoft. The shop is open on game days and is available by appointment on non-game days. For production companies in need of a filming location or equipment and expertise, Gunsmoke Paintball is also available for hire.
