The Gunnedah Memorial Pool Complex, owned and operated by Gunnedah Shire Council, is a state-of-the-art facility located in the heart of Gunnedah, NSW. Originally established in the 1950s as a war memorial, the complex underwent a multi-million dollar upgrade in 2017/2018 and reopened to the public in December 2018.
Situated amidst a picturesque setting of trees and lawns, the complex features a range of amenities for visitors to enjoy. The standout feature is the brand new, Fina compliant competition eight lane, 50-metre outdoor swimming pool, perfect for serious swimmers and athletes. Additionally, there is a 25-metre indoor heated pool complex, catering to those who prefer a warmer water environment.
Families will appreciate the kids' water playground area and dry playground area, specially designed to keep children entertained and engaged. For relaxation, there are numerous seating and shaded areas where visitors can unwind and soak up the sun.
The complex also boasts a brand new pavilion and amenities, ensuring visitors have access to modern and comfortable facilities. Kiosk and caf facilities are available to cater to visitors' food and beverage needs.
Covering a large area, the complex includes open irrigated grassland areas, providing ample space for picnics, group activities, and sunbathing.

During the summer period, the complex operates from 5:30am to 7:00pm from Monday to Saturday, and from 9:00am to 6:00pm on Sundays. The complex is closed on Good Friday, Christmas Day, and various staff training days, which will be publicly notified.
