Located in the picturesque Perthshire area, just an hour's drive from Edinburgh, our fishing trips cater to individuals, groups, families, and corporate outings. We also offer gift vouchers for our trout fishing trips, ranging from 1-day trips to 3 and 6-day fly-fishing holidays. Even if you've never fly fished before, don't worry! We provide fly-fishing lessons for beginners to advanced levels, ensuring that everyone can enjoy this fantastic sport.
Our fishing days typically start at 8.30 am, with clients on the water by 9.00 am to maximise the fishing experience. We have a well-deserved break for lunch and resume fishing until around 5.00 pm. If you are staying at a local hotel or B&B, we can arrange transportation to and from the fishing location for your convenience.
If you choose to brown trout fish with us on the River Tay, you will have access to our fishing lodge. Our lodge is equipped with all the necessary facilities to make your fishing trip comfortable, including tea and coffee, a dining area, toilets, and an oven for heating meals. We provide all the trout fishing tackle, including rods, reels, lines, safety vests, waders, and a wide selection of hand-tied flies. Fishing permits are included in the price, so you don't have to worry about any additional fees.
For your fishing trip, all you need to bring is weather-appropriate clothing and a packed lunch. If you prefer, we can even arrange a packed lunch for you for an additional charge. Sunglasses are also advisable to protect your eyes from the sun's glare while fishing. Please note that the Wild Brown Trout Season runs from March 15th to October 6th, while rainbow trout fishing is available year-round, depending on winter weather conditions.
If you are booking with us for multiple days and do not live locally, we can provide links to local hotel or B&B options or suggest an ideal area to base yourself. For those flying into Scotland, we also offer airport transfers from Edinburgh Airport at the cost of £75.00 each way, with a journey time of approximately an hour and 15 minutes.
