However, please note that these trips are recommended for experienced anglers with good fitness levels, as the Fiordland weather can be unpredictable and the terrain demanding.
Access to the Fiordland Wilderness streams requires boat, floatplane, or helicopter access, with varying prices depending on the fishing location. Our full day of guided wilderness fly-fishing package is priced at $1200 for 1–2 anglers and covers all necessary gear such as fly-fishing tackle and waders/boots. Additionally, we provide a packed lunch and pick up/drop off service from Manapouri or Te Anau. Don't forget to purchase your NZ fishing license online via the Fish and Game website.
For those keen on extended adventures, we offer the option of camping or staying in rustic huts for 2-day fishing trips. This allows you to maximise your helicopter or boat costs and fully immerse yourself in an unforgettable fishing experience.
