At Grovely Riding Centre, located just 3 miles west of Salisbury in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside, riders of all ages and abilities can enjoy the complete riding experience. With 18 fabulous horses and ponies and a team of highly trained instructors, Grovely offers a safe and friendly environment for everyone to learn and develop their riding skills.

As a BHS approved and highly commended 5-star rated centre, Grovely Riding Centre is dedicated to providing top-quality lessons and activities for both adults and children. Whether you're a beginner looking to learn the basics or an aspiring competition rider, Grovely offers a range of group and private lessons tailored to suit your individual needs.

In addition to lessons, Grovely also offers beautiful hacking opportunities, allowing riders to explore the stunning Grovely Woods and surrounding areas on horseback. Grovely Riding Centre has a rich history dating back over 40 years. Founded by Nobby Clarke after the Second World War, the centre has been passed down through generations and is now owned and managed by Sue and Ger. Their love and passion for horses have transformed Grovely into one of the leading equestrian centres in the South.

Grovely Riding Centre prides itself on its commitment to safety and professionalism. All staff members are fully qualified BHS instructors, ensuring that riders receive the highest standard of instruction and care. With outdoor schools and access to an extensive network of bridleways, Grovely provides riders with the opportunity to enjoy riding in a beautiful and natural setting.

Please note that Grovely Riding Centre does not offer private lessons on weekends, and riders are reminded to bring waterproof clothing as riding is an outdoor activity. Cancellation policies apply, and riders should be aware that while every effort is made to accommodate specific horse or pony requests, unforeseen circumstances may require adjustments.
