Grove Farm Riding School, located in the beautiful Domesday Village of Iden in Rye, offers a range of equestrian services for all ages and levels of experience. Established in 2004, our school is set on over 60 acres of open farmland in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

As an Approved Establishment of the Association of British Riding Schools, The Pony Club, Riding for the Disabled, and KEITS registered, Grove Farm Riding School prides itself on providing high-quality and safe experiences for our riders. Our fully qualified instructors undergo constant training and are dedicated to maintaining a friendly and fun environment for learning.

In our Lessons programme, we provide informal, informative, and enjoyable riding lessons for individuals or small groups. We carefully match horses/ponies to the skills and abilities of riders, ensuring a safe and comfortable learning experience. Lessons take place in our outdoor school with a qualified member of staff, and we offer a range of options, including private, group, and semi-private lessons.

For more experienced riders, our Hacks allow you to explore the stunning countryside surrounding Iden. With 60 acres of farmland to ride on, as well as access to local bridleways, our hacks provide a thrilling and scenic experience. Additionally, we offer special rides such as pub rides and Pimms picnics during the summer months.

Our Pony Club is open to riders under the age of 25 who do not have access to their own pony. As a Pony Club linked centre, we offer regular tests to improve riding skills, knowledge of horse care, and stable management. These tests are marked by Achievement Badges, which can also contribute to the Duke of Edinburgh Award.
