The Aberdeen Riding Club (ARC) is excited to announce an upcoming horse riding event that is perfect for those interested in this amazing sport. ARC, an Approved and Established Training Centre, offers group lessons for riders of all levels.
When attending a lesson, it is important to arrive 15 minutes early to fill in membership forms and meet the experienced instructor who will guide you throughout the session. To ensure the utmost comfort and prevent any unease for the horses, riders are advised to wear warm and close-fitting clothes.
Safety is our top priority at ARC, and it is mandatory for riders to wear shoes with a small heel and a riding hat when handling or riding the horses. To make things easier for you, we have hats available for borrowing. It's all about making sure everyone is well-equipped and protected during their time with our lovely horses.
We want to ensure the horses' welfare, so there is a weight limit of 14½ stone for riders. If you are close to the limit, we may ask you to step on the scale on-site. We appreciate your understanding, as the well-being of our horses is of utmost importance to us.
Payment for lessons is flexible, as cash, cheque, and credit/debit card options are all accepted. We want to make it convenient for you to join our lessons and explore the joy of horse riding.
