Mornington District Basketball Association is thrilled to announce the launch of Ground BreakHERS, a fantastic program aimed at female basketball players eager to take their skills to new heights. This initiative is perfect for players born between 2011 and 2016 who are enthusiastic about honing their talents and becoming top-notch representatives in the sport.
The primary focus of Ground BreakHERS is on building crucial skills and fundamental basketball knowledge essential for excelling on the court. Participants are expected to bring their A-game, strong work ethic, and a burning desire for improvement. The program is specially crafted for players within the morning breakers domestic program, though exceptions to the age range can be considered upon direct application to [email protected].
Excitingly, participants will also get a shot at joining the Mornington Breakers team, with potential selections for the Breakers Development Squad open to those born in 2014. Sessions are geared towards enhancing skills on 10ft rings, apart from the Jump-Ball program that incorporates lower rings. To be eligible, players must be registered in the MDBA Summer 23/24 Domestic season.

Join us every Wednesday from 4:00 pm to 4:55 pm, starting April 17, 2024, until June 26, 2024, at the Mornington Basketball Stadium (1051 Nepean Highway, Mornington).
For the cost of $130.00 per term, participants will get access to top-notch training and skill-building opportunities.
