What kinds of fishing does the Groe Park and Irfon Angling Club offer?

We offer both Game and Coarse fishing on the River Wye, the River Irfon, and Llyn Alarch, including Salmon, Trout, Grayling and Chub.

Where can I fish with the club?

We control over two miles of double and single bank fishing on the Wye and a mile on its tributary, the Irfon, with Llyn Alarch also included.

When is Salmon fishing best on your waters?

Salmon fishing relies on high water, and on all but the highest water the fly is usually the best option, with the latter half of the season offering strong potential.
