Gryphon Fitness is a personal training service founded and led by Danny Gryphon, a dedicated and knowledgeable personal trainer based in New Zealand. With a mission to support individuals with busy schedules in becoming the best version of themselves, Danny offers personalised coaching and training programmes tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.

With over 8 years of experience in the fitness industry, Danny understands the challenges faced by individuals on their fitness journeys. He personally experienced the struggles of balancing nutrition and training when he first started out as a PT. Recognising the lack of clarity and conflicting information in the health and fitness industry, he committed himself to continuously learning and expanding his knowledge.

Danny has completed various courses and certifications including anatomy, remedial therapy and massage, corrective exercises, physiotherapy, advanced nutrition and optimum health, and strength and conditioning. He also regularly attends seminars to stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in the field.

Through his extensive training and interactions with clients, Danny has gained a deep understanding of the psychology behind personal fitness journeys. He recognises that every individual has their own unique challenges and goals, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to fitness. Using common sense and applying his knowledge to each individual, Danny truly tailors his training plans to meet the specific needs and goals of his clients.

At Gryphon Fitness, the focus is entirely on the clients. Danny is passionate about helping his clients achieve their fitness goals and loves hearing about their success stories and milestones. He takes the time to listen to his clients' fears and needs and takes on the responsibility of guiding and supporting them on their fitness journeys.

In addition to personal training, Gryphon Fitness also offers online training programmes for those who prefer a more flexible approach. Clients can access personalised workout plans, nutrition guidance, and ongoing support from Danny, regardless of their location.

Danny's qualifications and certifications include NABBA Diploma Level 3 in Personal Training, remedial therapy massage and corrective exercises, Lorisian Practitioner for food intolerance testing, advanced nutrition and optimum health, biomechanic and functional movement screening, and Level 4 Strength and Conditioning Coach. He is also insured by FITPRO, a leading provider of insurance for fitness professionals.
