The Griffin Bowls Club is excited to announce a local Lawn Bowls event in Harlow that is sure to be a hit! We invite interested players to come and join our amazing club and be a part of the action.
As a new member of The Griffin Bowls Club, you will have the opportunity to join a welcoming community that is passionate about the sport. We understand that starting something new can be a little intimidating, which is why we assign each new member a playing member, referred to as a Buddy. Your Buddy will be there every step of the way to assist and guide you throughout your bowling journey. They will show you the ropes, help you navigate the clubhouse, introduce you to the noticeboards and club books, and even assist you in signing up for matches. You can count on your Buddy to stay in constant contact with you, ensuring that you always feel comfortable and supported.
But that's not all! The Griffin Bowls Club also organises roll up sessions and coaching sessions on Wednesday evenings. These sessions are the perfect opportunity to practice your skills on the green alongside experienced members and coaches. It's a fantastic way to enhance your abilities and get more familiar with the sport. Plus, you'll have a great time meeting new people and making friends along the way.
Let's talk membership fees. The Griffin Bowls Club has a special discount of 30% on membership fees for new members in their first year. For full playing members, the annual membership fee is £105. And don't worry if you're joining a bit later in the year, as your fees will be reduced pro rata. We also offer other membership options, including Associate Bowling Membership for £55 per year and Associate Non-Bowling Membership for only £10 per year (or £5 if your spouse/partner is a full playing member). If you're a student with a valid student ID card, you can avail membership for just £50 per year. And for young people aged 9 to 18, membership is only £5.00 per year.
