Located in Carlsbad Springs, just a short drive from Ottawa, the GreyHawk Golf Club Turf Management Facility offers a leading golfing experience with its two distinct courses, the Talon Course and the Predator Course. The clubhouse and the Talon Course showcase classic Canadiana architecture, reflecting the rugged beauty and charm of the National Capital Region. Designed by Darrel Huxham, the Talon Course features dense hardwoods framing many fairways, open holes defined by wetlands, bold bunkering, fescue-covered contours, colourful ornamental grasses, and elevated tee complexes.
On the other hand, the Predator Course, designed by Paul Takahashi, offers a heathland-style experience reminiscent of Scottish courses. This parkland course is wide and inviting, with knolls, hollows, humps, bumps, and fescue rough. The large and contoured greens are protected by engaging bunkering and bentgrass collection areas, challenging players' touch and creativity. With a mix of challenges and scenic views, both courses provide an exciting golfing experience for players of all skill levels.
The recently constructed $5 million, 17,100-square-foot clubhouse at GreyHawk Golf Club Turf Management Facility features a Canadian-inspired design with log siding and tiger-stripe natural stone, giving it a frontier home feel. Inside the clubhouse, members and guests can enjoy the Old World atmosphere of the Irish-inspired Black Pint Pub or gather on the 1,750-square-foot covered patio to relax and socialize.
