Since 1991, Greenwood Park Cricket Club, nestled in St Albans, has been the beating heart of local cricket passion. Competing fiercely in the Saracens Herts League every Saturday, the club also nurtures talent in its developmental Sunday XI team, blending friendlies and league games seamlessly.

The club, renowned for its welcoming and cricket-obsessed environment, is passionately committed to bringing new players into the fold. It's one of Hertfordshire’s most affordable clubs, offering the first year free and only a £20 joining fee.

Guided by a dedicated team, including Club Chairman Sam T Nash, Treasurer and Club Welfare Officer Jimmy Otter, Club Secretary Ed Grey, Fixture Secretary Troy Petchey, and Saturday Captain Chris Kent, the club thrives. Sunday fixtures are expertly managed by Joint Captains Ajmal Hussian and Todd Jenkins.

Throughout winter, players keep their skills sharp at weekly nets sessions held every Wednesday from 8pm to 9pm at Choice Willow, kicking off on the 12th of January.
