The Green Island (Upper) Junior Rugby Fields, located in Dunedin, New Zealand, is the home ground of the Green Island Rugby Football Club. Established in 1884, the club is lovingly referred to as “The Grizzlies” and proudly wears the colours of green, gold, and black. The club is under the guidance of the Metropolitan Committee of the Otago Rugby Football Union.

In 2023, the club will field five senior teams, including premier, leading Development, Women, Senior, and Championship Colts. This makes it the largest Junior Rugby Football Club (RFC) in Otago and one of the largest in the South Island. The club's weekly prize-giving events and club events draw remarkable crowds, setting it apart from other clubs.

The Green Island Rugby Club is fortunate to have the support of local sponsors and benefactors who contribute financially to the running of the club. With over 4,000 followers on their Facebook page, the club is the most followed community rugby club in Dunedin and Otago.

Recent years have seen significant facility upgrades at the club's clubhouse, including a new commercial-grade kitchen, in-ceiling heat pump systems, upgraded toilets, a new outdoor seating area, an improved sound and PA system, and renovated changing rooms. The club's facilities are also regularly used by the wider community for a variety of events, such as weddings, birthdays, funerals, and corporate functions.

The Green Island Rugby Club is run by a dedicated group of volunteers, supported by quality off-field management. The club's financial and membership aspects are in great health, with over 1,000 members consisting of senior and junior playing members, honorary junior members, social members, honorary life members, sponsors, and senior and junior officials.
