Great Rissington Club

Great Rissington Cricket Club, based in Cheltenham, invites senior and junior players to enjoy cricket in a community-focused environment. Since 1961, the club has grown steadily and now has multiple Saturday league teams.

The Senior Teams at Great Rissington CC reflect the players’ commitment and talent. The first team, established in 2004, has advanced impressively through the Gloucestershire County League, winning the Division 1 title in 2009. The club aims for both teams to soon compete in the Gloucestershire County League.

The Saturday 2nd XI, formed in 2014, plays in the Cotswold District Cricket Association League, showing strong improvements and league placements in recent years. The club supports young players, giving them opportunities in longer game formats.

Great Rissington CC offers junior cricket training with experienced coaches, fostering a love for cricket in a supportive atmosphere. The junior section has played a key role in expanding the club's Saturday league teams.
