Located in Whitby, Greater Durham Jiu-Jitsu offers classes in the Juko Ryu style of Jiu-Jitsu, which is a comprehensive martial art that includes powerful strikes, pressure point control, locks, throws, and ground fighting techniques. Students are not just taught physical techniques but also focus on character development and life skills.

In addition to Jiu-Jitsu, Greater Durham also offers classes in Shorin Ryu Karate, a traditional form of Karate originating in Okinawa. This style of Karate includes punching, blocking, kicking, pressure point striking, grappling, joint locking, and throwing techniques.

The instructors at Greater Durham Jiu-Jitsu are highly trained and experienced in their respective martial arts and are dedicated to helping students reach their full potential. The club is a division of Nayoko Education and has been changing lives for the better for 25 years.
