The Greater Brisbane Junior Tennis Association Inc. (GBJT) is gearing up for an exciting season ahead. They have been the go-to organisation for junior tennis fixtures in Brisbane since 1960, providing young players under 18 years old with the chance to showcase their skills on the court. With over 350 registered junior players, GBJT runs fixtures every Saturday afternoon across two seasons each year. Season 1, starting from March to June, is perfect for beginner to intermediate players at The University of Queensland. Intermediate to advanced players will battle it out at the top-notch Queensland Tennis Centre at Tennyson.
In addition to regular fixtures, GBJT hosts an annual singles and doubles tournament, allowing every player to compete in a round-robin format and gain valuable match experience. The club's success hinges on the good sportsmanship exhibited by all players and the dedicated involvement of parents at the committee and volunteer levels. Their support ensures that events run smoothly, creating an enjoyable tennis experience for all participants.
