Grammar Windsor Hockey Club is your go-to spot for hockey in Auckland, folks. They've been around for 91 years, started by Bill Ahlers and his mates from Auckland Grammar School back in 1932. In just a year, they snagged their first trophy and haven't looked back since.
By the 1940s, the ladies joined in, kicking off the Windsor Ladies Hockey Club. These gals didn't mess around, producing stars who made it to the international stage.
Fast forward to 1985, Grammar Old Boys and Windsor Ladies teamed up, forming the Grammar Windsor Hockey Club. Now, they’re based out of what used to be an old squash court at Hobson Park.
No matter your skill level, Grammar Windsor welcomes everyone. They’ve got a supportive crew and they keep up with the latest Hockey NZ rules. Big thanks to all players, coaches, volunteers, and supporters for an awesome winter season.
