Our Head Instructor, Andre Santos, originally from Brazil, has inherited the tradition of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and earned his black belt under the guidance of the eminent Rodrigo Mendanha. Andre's passion for the martial art goes beyond technical movements; he firmly believes in mastering the fundamental aspects of Jiu-Jitsu, a key principle for the continuous development of this gentle art.
An expert in teaching Jiu-Jitsu at all levels, for children and adults, Andre is qualified in all GB programs. His dedication to teaching is reflected in the success of his students. From the beginning of his journey, Andre immersed himself in the world of competitions, reaching the highest peaks. He proudly secured several gold medals in international events like Grappling Industries, Compnet East Canada, Rickson Gracie Cup, IBJJF Boston Open, IBJJF Toronto Open, IBJJF London Open, and UAEJJF Abu Dhabi's Canada National Pro.
In 2021, he also earned second place at the prestigious IBJJF Master World Championship, illustrating his exceptional commitment, discipline, and talent in the field of Jiu-Jitsu.
