Elspeth Hughton, TCRG Co-Director Instructor Elspeth Hughton began dancing at the age of 5 in Scarborough, Ontario under the tutelage of Maureen Taylor, TCRG.
Elspeth quickly rose through the ranks, winning numerous North American and world titles. Notably, Elspeth won the North American championships five times and placed in the top 10 at the World Championships multiple times. In 2014, Elspeth moved to Calgary to join forces with Ian Gott to establish the Gott-Hughton Irish Dance Academy. With their combined expertise and passion for Irish dance, Ian and Elspeth have created a world-class training facility that has produced numerous champions and top-placing dancers.
