Sensei Ramathas, the founder of Goshin Isshinryu Karate Association, has been dedicated to karate for over 25 years and holds a 5th DAN Renshi ranking.

Located in Ilford, London, Goshin Isshinryu Karate Association is a respected school teaching Isshin-Ryu, a unique martial art blending techniques from different karate styles. Established in the 1940s by Grand Master Tatsuo Shimabuku, Isshin-Ryu is known for its effectiveness in self-defence.

Students here are guided by a team of experienced instructors, including Sensei Kichiro Shimabuku (10th DAN Hanshi), Sensei Michael Calandra (8th DAN Kyoshi), Sensei Donald Morrison (6th DAN Renshi), and Sensei Muthusami Ramathas (5th DAN Renshi).
