Goshin Aikido Sutton is a martial arts club located in Sutton Coldfield, New Zealand. The club offers a range of classes and courses for both children and adults, providing a perfect introduction to the martial arts and fostering growth and development in individuals.
The Junior Class at Goshin Aikido Sutton is open to children aged 6 to 11 years. The class emphasises fun, exercise, and focus while teaching the basics of aikido. Continuous assessment and regular gradings provide motivation for the students to progress and improve their skills.
The Adult Class at Goshin Aikido Sutton welcomes adults of all ages and abilities, regardless of previous martial arts experience. Goshin Aikido Sutton also offers seminars several times a year in various locations throughout the West Midlands. These seminars provide an opportunity for students to enhance their learning by training with other instructors and exploring different styles.

All classes take place at the Methodist Church Hall on South Parade in Sutton Coldfield. The Junior Class is held on Mondays from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, while the Adult Class is held on Mondays from 8:00pm to 9:30pm.
Sensei Mark Peckett, a 5th dan instructor, has been practising aikido for 40 years and teaching for over 30 years. He believes that aikido is not just an excellent form of self-defence and a way to improve physical fitness and flexibility but also a means to make everyday life better.
Aikido is a comprehensive martial art that encompasses throwing, joint-locking, striking, and pinning techniques, as well as training with traditional Japanese weapons.
