The studio owes its foundation to Miss Karen, who sadly passed away in 2023. Nevertheless, her passion, values, and dedication live on through her daughter, Miss Megan, who now serves as the Principal of Goscote Dance Studio.
Having started her own dance journey at Goscote Dance at the tender age of 2, Miss Megan has successfully completed examinations in Ballet, Tap, Modern, and Lyrical. She further pursued her education in dance, attaining a High National Diploma qualification from Addict Dance Academy. As a testament to her talent, Miss Megan has been selected for a scholarship, receiving elite training in commercial, contemporary, and jazz dance. Her achievements even extend to performing live on television during The Common Wealth Games Opening Ceremony and featuring as a dance model in The Dance Times magazine.
Goscote Dance Studio enables its students to partake in BTDA examinations for Ballet, Tap, Lyrical, Modern, and Acrobatics. These examinations encourage individual expression and prioritise performance skills. Accredited and regulated by Ofqual, the BTDA examinations hold qualifications equivalent to GCSEs and A-levels.
