Focus 2023” from 30 November to 31 December 2023. This programme showcases films from the 2023 season and is a collaboration with Dance Hub SA, Ausdance ACT, Ausdance SA, and Alchemy Dance Collective.
For those interested in exploring the intersection between dance and artificial intelligence, the centre offers the “AI Immerse Lab” class on 18 January 2024. Led by Alisdair, participants will engage in a series of experiments that aim to provoke deeper questions about the role of dancers, dance makers, and AI in contemporary dance.
The Gorman Arts Centre is also a popular destination for families during the school holidays. From 15 - 18 January 2024, children can participate in the “Kids RuleThe World” Holiday Programme. This programme sparks the imagination by exploring the power of youth and what mischief can be made when the adults are gone. Additionally, from 22 - 25 January 2024, the centre will be hosting the “Game On!
” Holiday Programme, where participants can immerse themselves in the world of video and board games and experience what it's like to be a character in those worlds.
