Welcome to Goodwood Saints Football Club, a proud and well-established AFL football club located in Millswood, South Australia. Our club has a rich history, being formed in 1985 through the amalgamation of the Goodwood and St Raphaels football clubs.
At Goodwood Saints, we are committed to providing opportunities for people of all ages and skill levels to play and be involved in the great game of Australian rules football. We have a strong presence in both senior and junior football.
For our senior teams, we have three men's teams and two women's teams, offering players a chance to compete at a high level and be a part of a tight-knit and supportive community. Additionally, we have an inclusive side that participates in the SANFL Inclusive league, promoting inclusivity and diversity within the sport.
Our junior programme is also thriving, with 11 boys' teams ranging from Under 7s to Under 17. 5s, and five girls' teams in the SANFL Juniors competition. We are proud to offer opportunities for young players to develop their skills, foster a love for the game, and build friendships that will last a lifetime. We also have an Auskick programme, introducing young children to the fundamental skills of football.
Goodwood Saints Football Club has been recognised for our outstanding achievements and contributions to the community. We have received numerous awards, including the Good Sports Mental Health Award, Junior Club of the Year, Club Champions, and multiple Club of the Year awards at both state and national levels.
We are not just a football club; we are a community that deeply values giving back. Throughout the season, we actively raise funds for our chosen charities, such as the Breast Cancer Network Australia, Breakthrough Mental Health Research Foundation, Hutt St Centre, Operation Flinders, and the Salvation Army's Red Shield Appeal.
As a club, we are devoted to upholding strong values and behaviours both on and off the field. We promote inclusivity, respect, and sportsmanship among our players, coaches, officials, and supporters.
We are extremely grateful for the support of our generous sponsors who play a significant role in our club's success. Their support allows us to continue providing opportunities and a positive football experience for all our members.
Goodwood Saints Football Club acknowledges that we are part of Kaurna land and recognises and respects the Kaurna people as the traditional and continuing custodians of the land we play footy on.
