Our teams train on a weekly basis at The Good Shepherd Lutheran Primary School, which is where our club is proudly affiliated. The school's values of respect, teamwork, and perseverance are deeply embedded in our club's culture, and we strive to instil these values in all our players.
As a member of the Lilydale Yarra Valley Netball Association, our teams compete in local competitions and tournaments, allowing players to showcase their skills and develop their game. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our coaching staff, who are dedicated to providing high-quality training and guidance.
At Good Shepherd Lightning Netball Club, we understand that starting something new can be intimidating. That's why we have a comprehensive New Player Information package to help new players feel welcomed and supported. From understanding the rules of the game to getting to know their teammates, we strive to make the transition as seamless as possible.
To ensure fair competition, we follow a Grading Policy that aims to place players in teams according to their skill level. We believe that playing with others who have similar abilities not only fosters healthy competition but also allows players to grow and improve.
