Golf Les Rivires, located in Trois-Rivires, was founded in 1990 as the Trois-Rivires Golf Centre, which initially consisted of a practice facility and 36 holes of mini golf. In 1997, the golf centre was transformed into Golf Les Rivires when it was purchased by Michel Comeau and his wife, Louise Perreault. In 2014, their daughter Audrey-Ann Comeau and her partner David Clment joined as co-directors of the business. Over the years, numerous enhancements have been made to the facility.
As of August 2001, a 9-hole executive course with a par of 30 was opened for players to enjoy. In June 2015, Disk Golf was introduced at Golf Les Rivires, with a 12-hole course set up alongside the traditional golf course. This new activity combines elements of golf and ultimate frisbee, providing a unique experience for visitors. The club now features a family-friendly atmosphere, offering a synthetic and natural grass practice area, two 18-hole mini golf courses, a 9-hole executive course, 12 holes of Disk Golf, private, semi-private, and group golf lessons, as well as club repair services.
Golf Les Rivires is a perfect destination for golf enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. The addition of Disk Golf has expanded the range of activities available at the facility, making it a versatile and inclusive venue for families and friends to enjoy. Whether visitors are looking to practice their swing, play a round of mini golf, or try their hand at Disk Golf, Golf Les Rivires provides a welcoming and engaging environment for everyone.
