In an effort to encourage more women and girls to embrace this magnificent sport, the club has partnered with the Gloucestershire Golf Partnership to organise a series of complimentary Golf Taster Sessions.
These captivating sessions will be conducted on weekday evenings and Saturday mornings, to accommodate the diverse schedules of potential participants. During these sessions, golf enthusiasts will have the invaluable opportunity to meet the Professional Coach, the Women's Captain, as well as other esteemed women members of the club. These knowledgeable individuals will be delivering informative overviews of our exceptional facilities and, furthermore, outlining the pathway for golfing novices to acquire a professional handicap.
Under the watchful eye of both the Professional Coach and experienced women members, participants will have the chance to unleash their swing on the driving range and finesse their short game. Additionally, our club will be offering guidance on embarking on group and individual lessons for those looking to delve deeper into the world of golf.
The weekday evening sessions will be conveniently held from 6-8pm, while the Saturday morning sessions are scheduled from 10am-12noon. To ensure maximum comfort and performance, all participants are required to wear trainers or golf shoes, alongside comfortable attire that facilitates a fluid swinging motion. We will be delighted to equip participants with golf clubs and balls, leaving them free to focus on honing their skills and taking in the stunning surroundings.
