Hillcrest Christian College is hosting this thrilling amateur basketball tournament from July 4th to July 7th, 2024. Since its establishment in 2014, GCI has become the biggest school tournament on the Gold Coast, attracting male and female school teams in the Open Division and 15 years and under category. Whether you're a local, interstate, or international school, all are welcome to participate in this exciting event at the Coomera Indoor Sports Centre in Coomera.
Get ready for intense 8-minute fully timed quarters with a 24-second shot clock, all following FIBA regulations. Each team will have the chance to play a minimum of six games during the tournament by paying a nomination fee of $850.00 (excluding GST). Remember, the deadline for registration and payment is June 10, 2024, with a maximum of 12 teams per age group and division allowed. Don't forget to ensure your teams have proper accident and injury insurance coverage along with a public liability certificate of currency when signing up.
