Fort Hockey Development is thrilled to announce the opening of registration for the upcoming 2023 Summer Camps, including the Goalie Day Camp #1. This particular camp is tailored for aspiring goalies aged U11 to U18, looking to hone their skills and enhance their performance on the ice.
Running from Tuesday, August 6, 2024, to Friday, August 9, 2024, the camp will offer engaging sessions from 8:15 AM to 2:30 PM each day at the Sportsplex Arena. Participants can expect a dynamic schedule that includes 1st ice Power Skating & Movement Mechanics, Goalie Specific Warmup, Workout, and Cooldown Training (dryland), among other tailored activities.
With a focus on providing maximum shots, reps, and attention to goalies in a half-day camp setting, the Goalie Day Camp #1 offers 2.25 hours of ice time daily. Off-ice activities such as yoga, workout circuits, reaction training, and warmup/visualization habits are also incorporated to enhance overall player development.
