With a focus on promoting a love for the game, Goal-Fest Kicks offers a range of sessions that cater to different age groups and abilities.
The club's coaches are experienced and have over 15 years of coaching and teaching experience within primary schools. They are all FA qualified and have undergone background checks, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the children in their care. In addition, all coaches are first aid trained, providing peace of mind for parents.
At Goal-Fest Kicks, the emphasis is on creating a positive and enjoyable learning experience for all participants. Coaches encourage children to have fun, be vocal, and develop their skills in a supportive and inclusive environment. The programme focuses on teaching new football techniques on a weekly basis, helping children to build their confidence and ability on the field.
When attending a Goal-Fest Kicks session, participants are required to bring their training kit, suitable for the weather conditions and playing surface. They also need to have appropriate footwear for grass pitches, 3g pitches, or indoor halls, such as Astroturf football shoes, moulded football shoes, or trainers. Shin pads must be worn, and goalkeepers are encouraged to bring their gloves if applicable. Participants should also come prepared with warm, waterproof clothing, a sun hat, and sunblock (which cannot be administered by the coaches).
Any necessary medication, such as inhalers, should be brought to the attention of the coaches during registration. It is also important for participants to bring a bottle of water, with fizzy drinks not permitted.
Goal-Fest Kicks offers a free trial for new members, allowing them to experience the sessions before committing. Following the trial, parents will receive a request to join the class.
