At GMax Academy, we offer a diverse range of Kung Fu and Kickboxing classes for both kids and adults. Our adult classes focus on the traditional Shaolin kung fu routines from the esteemed Chin Woo Wushu syllabus. These classes encompass various aspects, including fitness training, muscle conditioning, stretching, pad work, self-defence applications, and even gymnastics. For those seeking a more advanced experience, we also teach jumping techniques and introduce weapons routines throughout our training sessions.

They have consistently emerged victorious at numerous National Championship Tournaments, earning multiple gold medals for their exceptional skills and dedication. The Chin Woo (Athletic) Association, founded by the legendary Grandmaster Huo Yuanjia in the late 19th Century, has played a significant role in the development and promotion of Chinese kung fu. Seeking to empower the Chinese people through the art of kung fu, Master Huo accepted a famous challenge from a European wrestler in 1909. Master Huo emerged as the victor, solidifying his reputation as a national hero. Since then, Chin Woo has expanded its reach across China and Asia, becoming one of the largest martial arts organisations worldwide.
Chin Woo Wushu forms or routines primarily adhere to the 'Northern' style, known for its emphasis on fast and powerful kicks, high jumps, and fluid movement. Additionally, we place great importance on various weapon forms, including spears, cudgels, straight swords, and broadswords. The incredible stories of Huo Yuanjia and Chin Woo have captured the imagination of audiences worldwide and have been featured in popular movies such as Bruce Lee's 'Fist of Fury' and Jet Li's 'Fist of Legend' and 'Fearless'.
