The Gloucester & District Netball Association Incorporated is excited to announce an amazing opportunity for young netball enthusiasts in the area. Introducing Net Set Go, a program specially designed for children between the ages of 5 and 10.
Net Set Go is all about creating a positive and fun introduction to netball. Our dedicated committee members are passionate about ensuring that every participant has a fantastic experience while learning and improving their netball skills. We believe in the power of play and incorporate skill activities, games, and modified matches into our sessions.
The action kicks off bright and early at 9am, so make sure to set those alarm clocks! The session begins with a warm-up to get everyone's bodies ready for the exciting day ahead. After that, it's time to dive into some basic skills practice, where our experienced coaches will be on hand to guide and support the players.
But wait, there's more! Each session concludes with a modified game, giving the budding netball stars a chance to put their newly acquired skills into action. It's a great way to build confidence and team spirit while having a blast on the court.
To make things even better, registered players will receive a free shirt and ball, courtesy of our wonderful sponsors. We're all about making netball accessible to everyone, so the registration fee is set at a reasonable $110. It's a small investment for a lot of fun!
Do you know a girl in Year 3 or 4 who's eager to take their netball journey a step further? Well, we've got something special for them too. Girls in Year 3/4 can participate in both Net Set Go and our Junior Competition. It's a fantastic opportunity to continue honing their skills alongside their peers.
