About
Glen Rovers Football Club in Watford has been kicking it since 1953, offering Hurling and Gaelic Football for men, ladies, and youngsters. With its roots in North Watford, the club's proud history is packed with hard work from legends like Jim Foley and The Hanley Brothers, to name a few.
Today, the torch is carried by the likes of Jerry Brennan and Tracey Bunyard, whose passion keeps the club thriving. Their top-notch facilities at Radlett Road were made a reality thanks to Watford Borough Council, with grand openings by GAA’s President and Watford’s Mayor. Star status? Check – they've got County Ground Status from Herts County Board too!
Glen Rovers keep smashing it on the field: U14 girls nailed the Peter McGlynn Memorial tournament, U13 girls snagged the GloHerts Shield & Cup, and the British Feile in Edinburgh. Men’s and Ladies’ teams? B Championship Winners. And don’t forget the Hertfordshire GAA Sports Persons of the Year awards for Paul Connelly, Martin McManamon, and Sean Gallagher in 2020.
Stay in the loop by following Glen Rovers on Facebook, Mail, and Instagram. Celebrate the wins and be part of the action!
