Glengowrie Uniting Netball Club has a rich history dating back to 1961 when it was known as Dunleath Gardens Girls Basketball. Over the years, the club has evolved and adapted to changes in the association and community. In 1969, the name changed to Glengowrie Methodist, and in 1971, it became known as Glengowrie Uniting Netball Club under the SA United Church Netball Association Incorporated (SAUCNA).
