Since 1973, Gitee Apsara has been a beacon of artistic excellence, kindling the passion for dance in the heart of Kolkata. Established by the esteemed Late Smt. Enakshi Saha Chowdhury, this venerable academy now thrives under the mentorship of Guru Ratnabali Roy, a distinguished disciple of the legendary Kathak maestro, Nritya Siromoni Guru Bandana Sen. Gitee Apsara is celebrated for its inspiring ambiance and robust teaching methodology.
Specializing in a rich tapestry of dance forms, Gitee Apsara offers comprehensive training in Kathak, Odissi, Rabindrik, Creative, Folk, and Bollywood styles. Each session is designed to nurture talent and foster a deep understanding of the cultural essence behind each dance form. The academy prides itself on creating a nurturing and inclusive community, encouraging students from all walks of life to explore and express their unique dance journeys.
Operating from 5 pm to 9 pm, Monday through Sunday, Gitee Apsara ensures flexible timings to accommodate the diverse schedules of its students. The beautiful and vibrant space at 83/C Jaducolony, Behala, Kolkata, sets the stage for an engaging and immersive learning experience.
