Get Fit With Tessa is a Pilates studio located in Shefford, Bedfordshire. Tessa, the experienced instructor, has been running exercise classes in the Clifton area for over 20 years. Her aim has always been to provide inclusive, effective, and fun classes for all shapes, sizes, and fitness levels.

The Legs, Bums & Tums class is specially designed for the over 50s, with a focus on low-impact conditioning, mobility, balance, and all-round fitness. The Pilates class is primarily attended by ladies and aims to increase strength, especially in the abdominal and back muscles, while also providing relaxation.
For those who prefer seated exercises, the studio offers a Seated Pilates class. This fun and simple mixed class use seated and standing exercises to improve strength and balance for everyday living. Tessa is always mindful of the participants' safety and encourages anyone with medical conditions to consult their GP before attending classes.
Tessa is known for her effective and enjoyable classes. As a granny herself, she understands the need to adapt exercises for older bodies and offers low-impact and less stressful options. She holds various exercise qualifications, including RSA Exercise to Music, Personal Trainer, YMCA Level 3 Nutrition and Weight Management, and Fitness Pilates Level 2 Instructor, among others. Tessa is also a Level 3 member of the Register of Exercise Professionals and has 2 million public liability insurance.
The class timetable at Get Fit With Tessa offers a variety of options throughout the week. Pilates classes are available on Mondays and Thursdays, with multiple time slots to choose from. Seated Pilates classes, including a cuppa, are held on Mondays and Thursdays as well. Legs, Bums & Tums classes are available on Mondays and Thursdays.
To participate in Pilates classes, pre-booking is required for an 8-week course. The cost is 50 for the full course. Seated Exercise classes can be paid in chunks of 30 or cash each week, with a rate of 5 per session. Legs, Bums & Tums classes can be paid with cash or card at a rate of 5 per adult.
Please note that there are no classes on bank holidays.
