Sandy Piekarska, the organiser at Genesis Gymnastics Club, would like to update the sports community on the club’s activities. Genesis Gymnastics Club, based in Thames Ditton, Surrey, meets every Saturday morning at Chessington Sports Centre, located within Chessington Community College on Garrison Lane.
The club offers gymnastics lessons for all levels and abilities, welcoming gymnasts from the age of 5 upwards. The coaching programme includes various apparatus, providing a well-rounded experience for everyone. While the club isn't focused on high-level competition, they do encourage participation in low-level competitions to help gymnasts showcase their skills in a supportive setting.
Genesis Gymnastics Club takes pride in offering a positive learning environment with a low coach-to-gymnast ratio of 1:5. Although this means there might be a waiting list, Sandy asks for patience as the club works to accommodate as many gymnasts as possible.
Being a British Gymnastics registered club, Genesis Gymnastics is affiliated with the South East Gymnastics and Surrey Gymnastics Association and has earned the British Gymnastics GymMark status for being a quality, child-friendly club. This is endorsed by Sport England's Clubmark standard.
Sandy recently congratulated coaches Amelia, Nyah, Grace, and Ben for their achievements in coaching.
Starting 5th March, the Korean School will be back in session, and the club has new entry and exit directions for easier access to the venue. The glass School Atrium entrance will be used for drop-off and pick-up. Though there may be some congestion, parking attendants will be on-site to assist.
To get in touch with Genesis Gymnastics Club, you can call them at 020 8224 2037 or email genesis.gymclub@ntlworld.com. Sandy Piekarska, as the club manager, is available for further assistance.
The club's postal address is 13 Orchard Avenue, Thames Ditton, Surrey KT7 0BB. The training venue is at Chessington Sports Centre, behind Chessington School at Garrison Lane, Chessington, Surrey KT9 2JS. Parking is available on school grounds, with access through the main entrance.
