Genesis Gymnastics Club, located in Thames Ditton, is excited to announce a local Gymnastics For All event. The club, which meets on Saturday mornings at Chessington Sports Centre, offers general gymnastics lessons to gymnasts of all levels. With a wide range of apparatus use, participants will have the opportunity to develop their skills and improve their overall fitness.
We warmly welcome gymnasts aged 5 and upwards to join us. At Genesis Gymnastics Club, we believe in inclusivity and strive to accommodate children with special needs. However, please note that we are currently unable to offer sessions for children with wheelchairs. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
While we are not a competitive club, we always encourage our gymnasts to participate in low-level competitions and events that are suitable for our club. This provides a great opportunity for them to showcase their skills and receive recognition for their hard work. We believe in creating a positive and enjoyable learning experience for all our gymnasts, ensuring that they feel supported and motivated throughout their journey.
As a club, we pride ourselves on maintaining a low coach-to-gymnast ratio of 1:5. This ensures that each gymnast receives the attention and guidance they need to progress effectively. However, please understand that due to this ratio, it may take some time for children on our waiting list to secure a place. We kindly request your patience during this process, as we are dedicated to providing the best experience for all our members.
Rest assured, Genesis Gymnastics Club is a registered club with British Gymnastics. Our affiliation with the regional and county bodies has allowed us to achieve British Gymnastics GymMark status. This prestigious recognition is a testament to our commitment to maintaining a safe, effective, and child-friendly environment. We are proud to be endorsed by Sport England through their Clubmark standard, giving you peace of mind when entrusting your child to our care.
