Geelong Ballroom Dance Club

Geelong Ballroom Dance Club, located in Hamlyn Heights, is a not-for-profit organisation that has been serving the local community since its establishment in 1984. The club leases a versatile facility called The Ballroom from the City of Greater Geelong, which is used for various dance classes, practise sessions, and social events organised by club members and the wider community.

The club holds weekly ballroom dances every Saturday night from 7:30 pm to 10:15 pm at The Ballroom, conveniently situated on the corner of Bayview Parade and Carey Street, Hamlyn Heights, next to the Tennis Courts. The venue is spacious, comfortable, and purpose-built, offering a welcoming atmosphere for dancers of all levels. Each week, there is a diverse selection of music, ranging from live performances to carefully curated ballroom CD music. This ensures that dancers can enjoy a variety of New Vogue, Latin, and Modern styles that cater to beginners, intermediates, and advanced dancers.
