Founded in 1957, the club moved to its state-of-the-art facility at Eslington Park in December 2011. The facility includes 6 changing rooms, 2 referee changing rooms, a physio room, caf area, meeting room, office, and both 3G and grass pitches.
As an FA Charter Standard Community Club, Gateshead Redheugh prides itself on providing a positive and inclusive environment for players of all ages and abilities. With over 30 teams, including a girls team and over 40 seniors, the club truly has something for everyone. The club's dedicated coaches focus not only on developing football skills and techniques but also on promoting good behaviour and the fun side of the game. This dual approach helps players develop both their social and athletic skills.
Affiliated through Durham FA, Gateshead Redheugh is a charity-run organisation that relies on the support of its volunteer workforce to keep the club thriving and serve as the heart of the community.
