Garioch Indoor Bowling Centre in Inverurie has been a smashing place for indoor bowling lovers since 1988. John, the organiser, has made sure there are five fantastic rinks for league matches and national comps. Plus, they’ve got a modern lounge and kitchen where you can chill before or after your game.
Back in 2009, John didn’t stop at bowls – he added six lanes of 10-pin bowling too! It’s perfect for a good laugh with mates and family. They even have a café and a Children’s Play Zone to keep everyone entertained.
There are membership options to fit everyone’s needs. Full membership is £95 a year, junior membership (up to 21 years old) is £30, and social membership is £25. Lockers are also available for a small fee.
Rink fees? They’re quite decent. Full members pay £4 for a two-hour session or £2 for one hour. Social members and non-members pay £5 for two hours and £2.50 for one.
Fancy a party? The lounge and bar can be hired for functions, just make sure non-members apply for special licenses six weeks beforehand.
