Join B C Wheelchair Basketball at Richmond Olympic Oval for an exciting Game Night filled with adrenaline-pumping wheelchair basketball action. Players aged 12 and up are invited to show off their skills and compete in competitive games with officials, if available. All skill levels are welcome, so whether you're a seasoned player or a newbie looking to try something new, this event is for you.
For junior players aged 12-20, there will be focused skills sessions and scrimmages to help improve their game. And for those 21 and over, don't worry, you're more than welcome to join in on the fun as well. Plus, don't miss out on WOW Night, a Women's Only Wheelchair Basketball session where self-identified women can come together in a supportive and inclusive environment.
If you're new to the sport, be sure to check out Bridging The Gap (BTG) Night, designed to introduce players with disabilities to wheelchair basketball. Starting with basic skills and moving on to a mini-game, it's the perfect way to get a taste of the action. Each session is just $10, with the first one free for first-time participants. Remember, registration is required and any cancellations should be made by 5 pm on the Friday before each night.
So, lace up those sneakers, grab your chair, and come join the B C Wheelchair Basketball community for a night of fun, friendship, and fierce competition. See you on the court!
