Galston Bowling Club, also known as 'The High Green', is a well-established and historic lawn bowls club located in Galston, New Zealand. The club was formed in 1864, making it one of the oldest bowling clubs in the area.

The current clubhouse and grounds were purchased from the Duke of Portland in 1864, and the new green was officially opened on July 3rd of that year. The club has a rich history, with bowling being played in the town since the late 1840s. In fact, the club predates the local Kilmarnock Football Club by two years!

One of the most popular tournaments is the 'Valley League', which is played annually between the five Irvine Valley Clubs. An interesting artefact from the club's history is a silver medal that was discovered in the safe of the local Masonic lodge. The medal is inscribed with the words 'property of Galston Bowling Club 1854' and was originally played for annually between the two organisations during the bowling season. In recent years, the annual game has been revived, bringing mutual benefit to both organisations.
