At Furnivall Sculling Club, teaching people to learn to row is at the heart of our club. We believe in providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for adults of any age and all rowing abilities. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced rower looking to join a new club, we have a place for you.
Our club is based on the Thames at Hammersmith in London, offering a beautiful and iconic location for rowing. With the river right on our doorstep, we have easy access to excellent water for training and racing. Our members enjoy the stunning views and the opportunity to be part of the rowing culture in London.
We have a variety of groups and squads to cater to different levels of experience and commitment. Whether you're looking to row competitively or recreationally, we have a squad for you. Our racing squad competes in national competitions, while our club squad focuses on rowing for fun and fitness. We also have a dedicated coaching team who are passionate about helping our members improve their skills and reach their goals.
In addition to rowing, we also have a vibrant social life at Furnivall. We organise various events throughout the year, providing opportunities for our members to socialise and connect with each other. Whether it's a club barbecue, a quiz night, or a festive celebration, there's always something happening at Furnivall.
