Funky Mambo is a vibrant and exciting Salsa dance company based in London. With a team of professional Salsa dance teachers, Funky Mambo is dedicated to inspiring and guiding students as dancers. The mission of Funky Mambo is to preserve and develop the heritage of Salsa danced On2, also known as Mambo or NY Style Salsa. The founders, Cliff and Miho, are respected Salsa teachers and dancers in London, who are passionate about spreading their love for music and dance across the world. They believe that music and dance have the power to connect people and aim to facilitate dancers on their journey towards reaching their highest potential.

At Funky Mambo, dancers can expect high-quality dance training and classes that are tailored to their individual needs. The classes follow the Funky Mambo syllabus, offering a structured and progressive learning environment. The teachers provide personal attention to each student, ensuring a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.

In addition to classes, Funky Mambo also offers social dances that provide dancers with a safe space to practise their learning and have fun. The social dances feature a variety of Salsa styles, including Salsa Dura, Mambo, Guaguanco, Cha-cha-cha, and Charanga. The resident DJ, Jamil, who is known for his exceptional music selection, creates an electrifying atmosphere that keeps dancers on their feet.

If you're a beginner or have never danced before, Funky Mambo welcomes you to jump in at any time. They offer a unique format that fast-tracks your progress, allowing you to learn and enjoy Salsa dancing from the very beginning. The classes take place every Tuesday from 7:15pm to 9:00pm, followed by social dancing from 9:00pm to 11:30pm.

Prices for classes are 12, which includes entry to the social dance, while the social dance only is 8.
